Application for Sleep Technologist Scholarship

Millions of Americans suffer from sleep disorders, making the sleep technologist field one that is constantly searching for qualified applicants. Sleep disorders like sleep apnea affect as many people as diabetes, asthma, and depression.

As part of our Mission, the Reggie White Sleep Disorders Research & Education Foundation in West Allis will provide a full scholarship to participate in the Advanced Sleep Technologist Education Program (A-STEP) approved by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine at the Sleep Wellness Institute in West Allis. This scholarship provides 80 hours of formalized education and training – regardless of prior experience. Graduates of the program are then qualified for employment in the sleep technology field.

To apply: please complete the following form below by May 1 or print out a PDF application and submit to the Sleep Wellness Institute, 2356 S. 102nd Street, West Allis; or to either of the clinics of Milwaukee Health Services, Inc.: the Isaac Coggs Heritage Health Center at 8200 W. Silver Spring Drive, or the MLK Heritage Health Center at 2555 N. Martin Luther King Drive in Milwaukee. The winner will be notified and enrolled in the program that begins in July.
